Advertising codes are used on the General Info window to record what drove the customer to your business. Use of advertising codes is optional. However, the advertising codes you set up here will be available for selection on the General Info window during order entry and will be available to all users. Kay

1. From the GlasPac LX menu bar, choose Lists, and then Advertising Codes. The Advertising Code Maintenance window is displayed.

2. Select the Insert Item button.

3. In the "Ad Code" field, type a short identifier to describe each advertiser or reason why a customer might choose your business, such as "YP."

4. In the "Description" field, type a full description of each advertiser or reason, such as "Yellow Pages."

5. To add more advertising codes, repeat steps 2 through 4.

6. To save the data you've added and close this window, select the Save button.
