Unlike the Quick Order\ feature, the Stock Order feature lets you online order inventory items directly from the vendor without creating a workorder first. Use it to order the more popular inventory items that you want to keep as your stock on hand.

  1. From the GlasPac®LX File menu, select Online Ordering to display the Online Ordering window, shown as follows.

  1. Now you can add a new line item\ or edit the existing line items\ . Or to add non-NAGS Autoglass parts, see the topic on adding Sundry items\ .

  2. At this point, you can make a pricing/availability inquiry\ before placing the order.

  3. To use " Order Reference Numbers" or add "Buyer Comments " to your order, select the Advanced Options checkbox (bottom left corner of window). For details, see Online Ordering Advanced Options\.

  4. After you have finished adding items to your order, select the Place Order button. This action sends the order request electronically to your vendor, as shown in the following image. It should only take a few seconds for your vendor to process the order.

  1. When the order is finished processing, its status is indicated by the kind of icon displayed in the Status column of the Online Ordering grid. For details, see Online Ordering Status Icons\ . At the end of the process, you will see one of the following icons:

bq. Indicates that the order has been processed successfully. The vendor fills in the Qty Available, Delivery Date/Time when the item will be shipped from the warehouse, Sell Price, and the Conf.# columns for each successfully ordered line item. Note: The Sell Price is the price you will be paying for the ordered item.

bq. Indicates that the order cannot be processed or needs further input for a resolution. Determine what you need to do to correct the problem by highlighting a line item and selecting the View Line Detail button. See the topic on Viewing Line Details\ for instructions.

  2. When you are finished, select the Close button to exit. You can review your order at any time. See Looking Up Online Orders\ for details.
